R & D Center
The Wolong Coating‘s Research and Development Center (R&D Center) originated from the Technical Laboratory of the Paint Factory, established in 1983. Later, it was restructured to include highly educated technical personnel and cutting-edge technologies, focusing on the research and development of new technologies and processes. The R&D Center specializes in the development of novel eco-friendly coatings, high-solid industrial anti-corrosion coatings, chemical inspection and testing, and chemical production automation.
The R&D center has a team with strong technical skills, professional expertise, and a collaborative spirit. Currently, there are 32 technical personnel, including 1 doctor, 3 masters, 3 specially contracted experts, 17 personnel with intermediate or higher professional titles, and several senior technical personnel. It has established long-term cooperative relationships with multiple universities such as Zhengzhou University, Shanghai University of Engineering Science, and Nanyang Institute of Technology, ensuring the Company's strength in researching and developing new technologies and products.
The newly established R&D building of the R&D center covers an area of 100 mu, equipped with advanced R&D equipment and hardware facilities. A significant investment has been made to build a sophisticated laboratory. The current main research directions focus on water-based epoxy, water-based acrylic polyurethane, water-based acrylic, water-based alkyd, and other water-based coating series; powder coating series; high-solid oil-based coating series such as marine paint, fire-resistant paint, automotive paint, permeable floor paint, ship paint, military camouflage paint, and engineering anticorrosive paint, conducting technical research and development.
